There isn’t much known about the Druids. Like the earth they keep their secrets safe. There are theories and points in history where iconic figures display the power of a Druid but it’s currently all conjecture. WHAT WE KNOW Different types of magic come from different sources. The use of some can be taught, while others are only usable by those born with the ability to tap into them. The planet has a life's blood that flows beneath the surface, just like people. While this energy, and all of its forms, flows everywhere, it is more concentrated in ley lines and nodes, much like blood vessels. There used to exist a large tribe of people born with the ability to channel this carnal energy of the earth, to use their will to give it form and purpose. Through the ages, they were known by many names, and many were leaders of Men. They are remembered as the Druids. All druids have sensitivity to the flow of magic in a place. An untrained druid would think nothing of this, as the sensations are much like good and bad feelings people say they get about places sometimes. A trained druid, though, is able to draw in the energy around him, use his body as a focus, and his thoughts as a mold, and thus wield the primal elements, giving them shape. For example, with the proper focus, a druid could light a candle or they could burn a house down. They could conjure water, ice, and snow, whatever they form the primal magic into. While this sounds exceptionally powerful, it does have limits. A druid's concentration on their end result can never waver. Doing so could mean the difference between a lit candle and burning a building down. They also have to be very careful in only drawing forth the amount of power needed for their end result. Their cast time for these manifestations is also directly proportional to the effect they wish to have. Using the same example, lighting a candle takes very little power, so they could do that within a second. Drawing in the amount of power needed to start an inferno, however, would take nearly a minute. To this end, druids in combat normally also bring either a weapon or others to keep the enemies distracted while they draw in power to fuel and focus their spells. A druid's capacity for this power is finite; they can only draw in so much before it has to be released somehow. That's where a druid's focus and control are most critical. If they were to draw too much in at once, or to lose focus on what they want the power to do while drawing, they could easily lose control of the power, resulting in potential physical and mental damage to themselves and those around them, up to and including death. Druids can also route the creations of Creators in the physical world. Together they've become a powerful and in the eyes of some races, unstoppable force. WHAT HAS BEEN DISCOVERED
