FAE Fae share similar traits which involve their egotistical natures as well as long lived lives. Much like vampires however they have displaced themselves from human society wanting nothing to do with the world as it is destroyed and developed. They all feel a connection with the earth and are very critical of those who destroy it. They're approval is rarely bestowed. WHAT WE KNOW Very little. We know there is a separate world, overlapping our own in many places, but apart and unreachable except by the Fae, who are not talking. They speak very little about themselves to outsiders and mostly only associate with other Fae. DIFFERENT SUB-SPECIES Nymphs: This race of Fae are always female and only have daughters. They use their erotic allure to ensnare men to reproduce. They are charming, sexy and alluring beyond normal human capabilities. They are able to balance truths and lies so expertly that it's hard to catch them in the act. They are one of the more intelligent spices of Fae. Fairy: Fairy's are small Fae often fitting in the palm of your hand. They are also known as sprites and are anything but cute. They are devious and has one track minds. They love honey and gold... and really anything that has the shiny hue of gold. They are easily fooled and not the smartest of the Fae. They are often used as messengers between Fae because they are small, move fast and able to create tiny slits or pathways from the Fae's realm to the human world. Spirits: Spirits are invisible to most and are Fae that have been trapped in the human world for to long. Due to their long life it's easy for them to lose sight of who they are and slip into nothing but mist. These apparitions aren't dangerous but they've seen time pass and countries rise and fall that they care little for people. They are the wisest of the Fae and almost impossible to talk to despite hiding within the human world. Imps: Imps are devilish little creatures who are often mistaken as toddlers. They will play tricks on humans and go as far as stealing their belongings. They hate humans and over time have kept their mischief to the Fae realm. They are nasty buggers when drunk and will often become violent. Like most Fae they are fast however unlike most Fae Imps will simply attack you until you're dead or have run. When in the human world they are very territorial. Elves: Elves are the second most beautiful Fae, next to Nymphs and are both male and female. Most of the Fae court are Elves and they are the ones who set the rules within the Fae society. They are eloquent and the keepers of knowledge within the Fae society. They've kept the records of each Cycle, Creator and Druid however this isn't information that they share lightly. They are keepers and protectors of this knowledge and the easiest way to keep it safe is to keep it to themselves. Mermaids: Mermaids are grotesques slimy fish like creatures that remain towards the deepest depths of the oceans. They are one of the few races of Fae who don't have as bad as an opinion about the humans because they've not destroyed the deepest parts of the ocean. They have a greater connection with the Creator having formed a tie with the first Creator thousand of years ago. They are more of a myth and haven't been spotted for millennium.
